Abstract (2. Language):
Bacıbey, Aybüken ebe, Gökçe bacı are variations of the same type, respectively,in the novels, Devlet Ana (1967, Kemal Tahir), Konak and Çatı (1973, 1974, Mustafa Necati Sepetçioğlu), Osmancık (1983, Tarık Buğra) which took the foundation period of Ottoman Empire as their theme.Kemal Tahir tries to characterize Bacıyan-ı Rum by personification of Bacıbey. Mustafa Necati Sepetçioğlu and Tarık Buğra have not meentioned Bacıyan-ı Rum directly, but their intention is understood from their styles of shaping the heroines. In the Turkish Society.before Islam, women were riding, training and using sword, plus, fighting. It seems that these traditions were still existing at that time in Turks who have moved Anatolia from Centra] Asia. Thus, authors above have noticed this continuity.
