Today, with the support of computer, simulation method has become a widespread method. Significant issues for companies such as the quality, short supply time, and reduction in cycle times are optimized by the simulation modelling technique that is functional for all fields. The aim of this article is to simulate the variations in efficiency for a real production system by applying different manufacturing scenarios. Factors and events which have negative impacts on the system efficiency constitute the core of the problem. The production system of the press plate of Tefaş A.Ş, a company in the automotive parts industry, is modelled by PROMODEL 4.22 simulation program. Comparisons are made between the current system and the proposed system which is renewed by PROMODEL. Improvement suggestions are presented in the final.

Günümüzde bilgisayar destekli simülasyon yöntemi birçok alanda yaygınca kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Her türlü alanda kullanılan modelleme teknikleri ile kalite artırımı, kısa temin süreleri ve çevrim sürelerini azaltmak gibi şirketler için büyük önem taşıyan değerlerin optimizasyonu sağlanmıştır. Bu makalede gerçek bir üretim sistemindeki verimliliğin değişimini farklı bir senaryo uygulayarak gözlemlenmesi amaçlamaktadır. Sistemin verimliliğini olumsuz yönde etkileyen faktörler ve olaylar problemin esasını oluşturmaktadır. Bu makalede Tefaş A.Ş otomotiv yan sanayi işletmesinin pres sac üretim sistemi PROMODEL 4.22 simülasyon programı ile modellenmiştir. Gerçek ve diğer olabilecek sistem arasındaki farklar karşılaştırılarak yorumlanmış ve çıkan sonuçlara göre önerilerde bulunarak çalışma tamamlanmıştır.
