The main aim of this study is to find out the relationship between positive psychological capital and job satisfaction. With this aim, a research conducted on 450 employees from an established public corporation, The findings of this survey indicate that there is significant and positive relationship between positive psychological capital and job satisfaction, positive relationship between positive psychological capital’s components and job satisfaction; and the scale of psychological capital has a discriminant validity. These findings support the other surveys’ findings in literature.

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, çalışanların sahip oldukları pozitif psikolojik sermaye ile iş tatmini arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla, makine sektöründe faaliyet gösteren köklü bir kamu kuruluşunda toplam 450 çalışan üzerinde bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda psikolojik sermaye ve bileşenleri ile iş tatmini arasında anlamlı ve pozitif ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte psikolojik sermaye ölçeğinin iş tatminini belirlemede, dört bileşenine nazaran, açıklayıcılık düzeyi daha yüksek bir faktör olduğu; elde edilen bu bulguların başka araştırma sonuçlarını destekler nitelikte olduğu belirlenmiştir.
