Abstract (2. Language):
Renal colic (RC) is a frequent disease in emergency room. The most common cause of RC is ureteral stone. Primary ca-re physician play the initial role in the management of urolit-hiasis. This article reviews the current recommendations in terms of renal colic emergency management: biological as-sessment, imaging, pain relief and specific treatment. The ma-jority of renal colic patients only needs strong analgesic treat-ment and an urologic outpatient follow-up. Care must be ta-ken considering diagnostic tools in case of complicated RC as it requires urgent treatment in urology department
Abstract (Original Language):
Renal kolik(RK) acil serviste rastlanan bir hastalıktır. RK'nin en sık nedeni üreter taşıdır. Ürolitiyaz tedavisinde acil hekimi ilk rolü oynamaktadır. Bu makalede renal kolik yaklaşımında günümüzde kabul gören biyokimyasal değer¬lendirme, görüntüleme, ağrı ve spesifik tedaviler değerlen¬dirilmektedir. Renal kolik hastalarının çoğu kuvvetli ağrı ke¬sici tedavisine ve üroloji polikliniği takibine gereksinim duy¬maktadır. Komplike RK üroloji kliniğinde acil tedavi gerek¬tirdiğinden tanısal araçlar kullanılırken dikkatli olunmalıdır
