Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade biology textbook published by Turkish Ministry of Education was evaluated in terms of science process skills. Document analysis was used in this study to collect and analyse data. Analysis was done by different researchers to increase the reliability. The study revealed that process skills in year 10, 11 and 12 biology textbook activities were not adequate. In addition, comparisons, classifications, predictions skills were inadequate in year 9 text book. Also, when the types activities were analysed, there were not any out-door activities in year 9 and year 11 textbooks. In addition, modelling and table making did not exist in year 11 textbook.
