The Effect of A Anger Management Training Program on The Anger Levels and Anger Management of University Students. In this study, the effect of anger management training program on the state anger levels of university students are examined. The research was carried out on the, 14 participants in the control group, 14 participants in the experimental group who are students on the Ondokuz Mayis University. The design of the research was based on an experimental pre – test post – test and a follow model. Students’ state anger levels was measured by means of “State Trait Anger Scale” which was translated by Özer (1994). Data analysis was applied with Mann Whitney U Test and Wilcoxon Matched – Pairs Signed Ronks. The research pointed out that trait anger levels of students who attended program were lower than those of others (P<.001). After three months, in experimental group it was found that there was no significant relationship between state anger levels of post-test scores and after scores. The results pointed out that anger management training program has positive effects on the trait anger levels.
