Abstract (2. Language):
In this research, heating pipe was used in the solar collector in order to take better advantage of the solar energy. The energy obtained from the sun was transferred to the drying air by means of heating pipes and this hot air was blown on the material to be dried. The water on the material to be dried vaporised with the effect of the hot air and drying took place. Because drying took place in the shade, distant from the direct radiation effects of the sun, some of the disadvantages seen in drying outside, under the sun were eliminated. Additionally, it was observed that it took less time to dry in this method than it takes to dry under the open sun.

Bu araştırmada, kurutmada güneş enerjisinden daha iyi faydalanabilmek için güneş kolektöründe ısı borusu kullanılmıştır. Isı boruları ile güneşten alınan enerji kurutma havasına aktarılmış, bu sıcak hava, kurutulmak istenilen materyalin üzerine salınmıştır. Kurutulmak istenen materyal bünyesindeki su, sıcak havanın etkisiyle buharlaştırılarak, kurutma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yapılan deneyler neticesinde kurutma olayı güneşin direkt radyasyon etkisinden uzak, gölgede kurutulduğu için, ürün üzerinde, dışarıdaki serbest güneşte kurutmada görülen bazı mahzurlar ortadan kalkmıştır. Ayrıca kuruma süresinin de dışarıdaki serbest kurutmaya göre kısaldığı tespit edilmiştir.
