Cu(II) İYONLARININ SULU ÇÖZELTİLERDEN POLİAMİN-POLİÜRE REÇİNESİ KULLANILARAK GİDERİLMESİ

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, a polyamine-polyurea chelating resin was synthesized and used in removal of copper (II) ions from aqueous solutions by adsorption. By using batch method, the effect of pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time and initial concentration on adsorption were investigated. 60 minutes of contact time, pH of 6,0 and 0,5 g resin per 100 mL of solution was determined as optimum adsorption conditions. Adsorption results were applied to Langmiur and Freundlich isotherm equations. As results of isotherm investigations, the adsorption results were fitted well to Langmiur isotherm adsorption model which describes chemisorption with correlation coefficient of 0,998. Maximum adsorption capacity was determined as 52,356 mg/g. The results of the experiments show that the resin has high adsorbing capacity for Cu(II) ions.
