Supply chain management (SCM) has been an important matter of subject for the companies, which strive against the rapid changeable market conditions and the ever-increasing competition environment. The companies, which have managed their supply chain effectively, have obtained much more flexibility in their production processes in addition to quickly responding to the changing customer demands. Although the SCM is a quite important matter for companies, studies on the evaluation of SCM performance are not available in most companies. In this study, a model is presented for the measuring the SCM performance of one of the Turkey’s biggest heavy-duty trucks and bus manufacturer company. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), one of the methods of multi-criteria decision-making, which has been applied in different areas to solve these kinds of problems, is also employed in the developed model.

Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi (TZY) hızla değişen pazar koşulları ve artan rekabet ortamında işletmelerin en önemli çalışma alanlarından biri olmuştur. Tedarik zincirini etkin bir şekilde yöneten işletmeler, değişen müşteri taleplerine daha hızlı cevap verebilmenin yanında, üretim süreçlerine de daha fazla esneklik kazandırabilmişlerdir. TZY işletmelerde bu derece önemli bir konu olmasına rağmen, TZY’nin performansının değerlendirilmesine yönelik olan çalışmalar birçok işletmede mevcut değildir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin en büyük ağır vasıta ve otobüs üretici işletmelerinden birinin Tedarik Zinciri Yönetiminin performansının ölçülmesine yönelik bir model geliştirilmiş ve geliştirilen model belirli bir dönemde işletmenin TZY performansının ölçülmesi için kullanılmıştır. Geliştirilen modelde çok ölçütlü karar verme yöntemlerinden biri olan ve değişik alanlarda birçok çok ölçütlü karar verme probleminin çözümünde kullanılan Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi (AHP) yönteminden yararlanılmıştır.
