ÖRGÜTSEL ÖZDEŞLEŞMENİN SİNİZM VE İŞTEN AYRILMA NİYETİ İLE İLİŞKİSİ ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON THE RELATIONSHIP OF ORGANIZATIONAL IDENTIFICATION WITH CYNICISM AND INTENTION TO LEAVE

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
This study investigates the relationship between negative and positive attitudes towards an organization. In this context, organizational identification has been chosen as a positive attitude and cynicism and intention to leave have been chosen as negative attitudes towards the organization. The individuals, who have a high level of organizational identification, perceive the organization as themselves. Assuming that this circumstance might have a reducing effect on negative job attitudes, the hypotheses have been developed and tested with a data gathered from 176 private sector employees. Results of the analyses put forth that organizational identification had a negative effect on cynicism and intention to leave. Probable managerial implications and future studies are also discussed.
