Two patients have been operated lor pulmonary arteriovenous fistuia at the Department of Thoracic Surgery, School of Medicine, University of Selçuk, Konya. The patients were adults, 49 and 62 years-old. Fistules were localized İn the right lower lobe in first one and in the right upper lobe in second. The type of the operation was lobectomy in both cases. Among our patients with pulmonary arteriovenous fistulas, hereditary hemorrhagic telengiectasia was not observed. İn this articie, the pathogenesis, clinical features, pathophysiologic changes, and treatment of pulmonary aderiovenous fistulas are discussed.

SÛ Tıp Fakültesi Göğüs Cerrahisi servisinde, iki olgu pulmoner arîeriovenöz fistül nedeniyle ameliyat edildi. Olgular, 49 ve 62 yaşlarında, erişkin hastalardı. Fistüller, birinci olguda sağ alt tobda, diğerinde sağ üst lobda lokalize idi. Her iki olguda lobektomi yapıldı. Pulmoner arteriovenöz (istüllü olgularımız arasında herediter hemorajik telenpektazi gözlenmedi. Bu makalede, oldukça ender görülen pulmoner arteriovenöz fistüllerin patogenezi, kliniği, patofizyolojik değişiklikleri ve tedavisi, olgularımız münasebetiyle literatür ışığında gözden geçirildi ve tartışıldı.
