Abstract (2. Language): 
Moisturizers are important for regulating epidermal barrier and it’s water contenent. They are also important for maintenance of healthy skin. Moisturizers acts as occlusives and humectans to increase the skin water capacity. There are many preperats enhancing these functions. Choice of moisturizer is depent on many factors. Aplication of moisturizers can save as important adjunctive therapy for patients with various dermatologic disorders.

Nemlendiriciler, epidermal bariyerin ve epidermal su içeriğinin düzenlenmesinde, cildin düzgün ve sağlıklı görünüm kazanmasında önemlidir. Nemlendiriciler hem oklüsif (kapatıcı) hem de humektan (su çekici) etkileriyle derinin su tutma kapasitesini arttırırlar. Çeşitli nemlendiriciler içerikleriyle bu görevi üstlenirler. Nemlendirici seçimi birçok faktörden etkilenir. Birçok dermatolojik hastalıkta tedavinin önemli yardımcılarıdır.
