Abstract (2. Language):
Anemia is a disorder characterized by decreased red cell mass. Iron deficiency anemia is the most common cause of anemia worldwide. Pernicious anemia is a macrocytic anemia, develops due to a lack of intrinsic factor which provides the absorption of linking dietary vitamin B12 from the terminal ileum. Anemia is common in primary care and is a clinical need obtaining information about diagnosis, treatment and follow-up by physicians. Our goal is to evaluate approaches to two common types of anemia in our country, that are iron and vitamin B12 deficiency anemias.
