As is known, the influx of Western European countries towards the workforce, in terms of economic and social structure of our country has gained prime importance.

For centuries, social, cultural and economic aspects into their closed and remained tightly linked to the land of the children of a community, now as a mass influx to the West, began. This influx, as well as the economic development of our country, is expected to play an important role in batılılaşmasında. It has already started to be felt positive effects and results. Bilindiği üzere, Batı Avrupa ülkelerine yönelen işgücü akını, yurdumuzun ekonomik ve sosyal yapısı bakımından birinci derecede önem kazanmış bulunmaktadır.

a münferit gruplar halinde başlıyan bu akın, gittikçe hızlanmış ve Türk işgücü Batı Avrupa'da kendi kıymetini kabul ettirdiğinden, işçi sayısı bir kaç yıl içinde 200 bine yaklaşmıştır.
Asırlarca sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik bakımlardan kendi içine kapanmış, toprağına sıkı sıkıya bağlı kalmış bir topluluğun çocukları, şimdi kitle halinde Batı'ya akına, başlamıştır. Bu akın, memleketimizin ekonomik kalkınmasında olduğu kadar, batılılaşmasında da önemli bir rol oynamaya namzettir. Bunun olumlu etkileri ve sonuçları şimdiden hissedilmeye başlanmıştır. Nesiller boyunca batılılaşma çabası içinde bulunuyoruz. Bu batılılaşma ıçabaları şimdiye kadar hep yukarıdan kitleye doğru olmuş ve çok ağır işliye-bilmiştir. îşçi hareketleri, Batı'ya yönelme gayretlerini, kitleden yukarıya doğru bir istikamette sürüklemeye başlamış ve böylece iki hareket birbirinin tamamlayıcısı durumuna geçmiştir. Kendi köyünden ve kasabasından başka âlem tanımamış onbinlerce vatandaşımız, şimdi, en ileri Batı ülkelerinde yaşamakta, yeni bilgiler ve görgüler edinmekte, bunları kendi köylerindeki yakınlarına mektup, fotoğraf ve diğer vasıtalarla iletmektedirler. Böylece en ücra vatan köşeleri dahi Batı'da olup bitenlerle yakından ilgilenmek imkânını bulmaktadır.
