The emergence and spread of information technologies have triggered lots of new changes in the life. All people benefited from these technologies including businesses, managers and entrepreneurs in the process. Entrepreneurs take into consideration information technologies as an important competitive advantage both to reduce their costs and to produce goods and services that value added in the business investments. Information technologies are being used to benefit from some opportunities such as search and access to any information, communication, automation and integration in support of production by entrepreneurs. Some entrepreneurs have been emerging who pretty flexible, faster in their decision making processes, use intensive information in their business processes, innovative and consequently effective on the job creation in the last years. In that context, i studied between the relationship of entrepreneurship and information technologies by considering their different perspectives and interactions.

Bilgi teknolojilerinin ortaya çıkması ve yaygınlaşması hayatın içerisinde birçok değişiklikleri tetiklemiştir. Bu değişimden süreç içerisinde bulunan toplumlar faydalandığı gibi ayrıca işletmeler, yöneticiler ve girişimciler faydalanmaktadırlar. Girişimciler firma yatırımlarında gerek maliyetlerini düşürmek gerekse katma değer sağlayan ürün ve hizmet üretebilmek için bilgi teknolojilerini en önemli avantaj olarak görmektedirler. Bilgi teknolojileri girişimciler için bilgiyi arama ve ulaşma, haberleşme, üretimde otomasyon ve entegrasyon gibi desteklerden faydalanmak amacıyla kullanılmaktadır. Son yıllarda ortaya oldukça esnek, karar verme süreçlerinde hızlı, bilgiyi yoğun olarak iş süreçlerinde kullanan, yenilikçi ve iş yaratma etkisi olan girişimci tipi çıkmıştır. Bu bağlamda, girişimcilik ve bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri ilişkisini farklı yönleri ve karşılıklı etkileşimlerini dikkate alarak çalıştım.
