Frederic Le Play'nin Tarih Anlayışı

In this article the historical view which is based On the ideas of Frederic Le Play, one of the most emminent figures in applied sociology, will be discussed. Le Play, his disciples and followers were the founders of a new approach in social sciences. This approach is based on the application of research and analytical techniques of positive sciences to the social sciences. Le Play's sociological thoughts have been pioneer to the sociological approach based on field works named under different titles such as industrial sociology, experimental sociology, applied sociology, and small groups sociology. Even though Le Play's sociology had been evaluated that it didn't have an historical view, we claim that the sociological approach based on Le Play's thoughts have a certain historical view. We aimed, in this article, to give an outline of Le Play's historical view.
