Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, the Bayramtepe district of Istanbul, a typical informal settlement area, is evaluated through the expressions of children who live there. Children of Bayramtepe talk about the water, electricity, sewerage". etc. problems of their neighbourhood area with striking descriptions and expressions. They also seem to be aware of the vague foture awaiting them. So, one of the most important problems for Istanbul is how this notion can be over come and such migrant populations can be integrated with the rest of the city.
