Abstract (2. Language):
Today, in order to get more efficiency in sport, wich is a means of education, can only be possible if we conform to sports ethics and philosophy that have kept going from the early ages up to now. Fair-Play, actually it is accepted to be a moral concept and a principal of education, is brought forward in sport concept, and that it includes, tolerance, geitlemanlines, virtuouness, respect to the rights, appreciating the good and the beautiful, honesty and eguality. This concept forms the essence of sport and having it obtained by yoing sport, has significance on the fiture of sports and the democratic life.

Günümüzde bir eğitim aracı olan spordan daha fazla verim elde edilebilmesi; ilk çağlardan günümüze kadar gelen spor ahlakı ve felsefesi ilke ve kurallarına bağlı kalmakla mümkün olabilecektir. Spor kavramı içerisinde öne çıkan, aslında bir ahlak kavramı ve eğitim ilkesi olarak kabul edilen fair-play; hoşgörü, centilmenlik, erdemlilik, haklara saygı, iyiyi ve güzeli takdir etme, dürüstlük ve eşitlik gibi insani özellikleri içeren ve sporun da özünü oluşturan bu kavramın, okul sporu aracılığıyla bireylere kazandırılması, sporun geleceği ve demokratik yaşam açısından da önem taşımaktadır.
