Cytogenetic effects of pesticides which use in agriculture

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
The increasing use of pesticides have deleterious effects on the environment and human health, especially since pesticides are mutagenic, carcinogenic and teratogenic. Result of some studies are the observation of a higher incidence of structural and numerical chromosome aberrations and sister chromatid exchange (SCE) in people exposed to pesticides whose working in agriculture compared to people not exposed to these com¬pounds. Studies on people whose working and producing with dithiocarbamates (ziram, zineb, thiram), same as organic phosphate (trichlorphan, phosmet, diazinon) and carbamets indicate that, this compounds causing chroosoe aberrations and SE.
