Orbital psödotümör ve hipofiz makroadenom birlikteliği: MRG bulguları

Orbital pseudotumor and hypophyseal macroadenoma association: MRI findings

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Orbital pseudotumor is a nonspecific inflammatory process with unknown etiology and pathogenesis. All orbital soft tissue compartments can be involved locally or diffusely. Clinically sudden orbital pain, edema and eritema in eyelids, limitations in orbital movements and propitosis can be found. Association with some systemic diseases were being discussed in the literature. Diagnosis is usually made clinically and radiological-ly. İn this report MRİ findings of a 30 year old female patient with hypophyseal macroadenoma and orbital pseudotumor was described. Association of the orbital pseudotumor and hypophyseal macroadenoma was not reported previously in the literature.
