Abstract (2. Language):
Tuberculosis (TB) is a major opportunistic infection after renal transplantation. The incidence of TB in the general population is high in developing countries including our country. The risk of TB in renal transplant recipients is reported to be 20–74 times higher than that in the general population. Genitourinary TB that occurs after renal transplantation is uncommon. An increased risk of graft rejection and graft loss has been reported. We present a case of genitourinary tuberculosis after renal transplantation, along with its clinical and laboratory properties.
