Nevus lipomatosis superficialis is a rare disorder characterized by
mature adipose tissue within the dermis. There are two clinical types; classical and solitary. Lesions of classical type present as soft, multiple, skin-colored or yellowish papules or nodules. Herein, we present 14-year-old male patient with a lesion localised at the back of the right leg histologically diagnosed as nevus lipomatosis superficialis. Thus, we aimed to review the differential diagnosis of nevus lipomatosis superficialis lesions which may be misdiagnosed as lipoma, segmental neurofibromatosis, epidermal nevus in hope to be also useful for primary care physicians.

s superfisiyalis, dermişte olgun ektopik yağ dokusu ile karakterize, nadir görülen bir hastalıktır. Klasik ve soliter olmak üzere iki tipi bulunur. Klasik tipte, lezyonlar deri renginde çok sayıda yumuşak papül ve nodülden oluşur. Burada, 14 yaşındaki erkek çocukta, sağ bacağın arkasında yer alan, histolojisi "nevus lipomatozus süperfisiyalis" ile uyumlu bir olgu incelendi. Bu vesileyle, söz konusu hastalık ile benzerlik gösteren lipom, seg-mental nörofibromatosis ve epidermal nevus'un ayırıcı tanısı hak¬kında, birinci basamakta da yararlı olacak bilgileri gözden geçirdik.
