Ectopic breast tissue is a developmental anomaly which may occur anywhere along the milk line through the axilla to the inguinal region. Although ectopic breast tissue is often asemptomatic , it may cause cosmetic complaints. As benign and malignant breast diseases may develop within this tissue, it is very necessary to be careful. Here, a 48-year- old female patient with bilateral axillary ectopic breast tissue is presented. Ectopic breast tissue should be considered in the differen¬tial diagnosis of patients with axillary mass.

Ektopik meme dokusu bir gelişim anomalisi olup koltukaltından kasığa kadar süt çizgisi boyunca herhangi bir noktada görülebilir. Ektopik meme dokusu sıklıkla asemptomatik olmasına karşın hastalarda kozmetik yakınmaya sebep olabilmektedir. Bu dokuda selim ve habis meme hastalıkları gelişebileceği için çok dikkatli olunmalıdır. Burada 48 yaşında her iki koltukaltında ektopik meme dokusu bulunan kadın hasta sunulmaktadır. Koltukaltında kitle şikayeti olanla¬rın ayırıcı tanısında ektopik meme dokusu akılda tutulmalıdır.
