Abstract (2. Language):
In this paper, tensile strength of composite materials, which are reinforced with a sandwich woven fabric, a special kind of three dimensional woven fabric, manufactured by hand impregnation and used in automotive, marine and building industry are analysed in order to determine their mechanical performances. Firstly, the tensile strength and tensile modulus of composites which are composed of fabric/vinylester resin are evaluated. Then polyurethane foam, which is a core material, is added to the system and resultant composites are evaluated for their tensile strength and modulus. The results of two different type of composites are analysed by comparison.
