Abstract (2. Language):
In this work on line tool condition monitoring prior to fracture in cutting processes are investigated. There are many methods used in tool condition monitoring. This paper describes an experimental and analytical method for direct and indirect methods are investigated. It usually consists of three steps. The first step is to sense some monitoring signals. The second step is to process the signals, from which a set of monitoring indices. The last step is classification. Many of these domestic research activities meet international standarts, but even these are stil far from commercialization. This gap is expected to be narrowed by industry. Bu eventhis necessity has been recognized by many researchers. The tool life and condition monitoring systems can be used effectively in the industry. It reduces the cost of production, increases quality and quantity of the production, stability of machine tools and helps to analyse the cutting conditions.
