Land Disposal of Olive Oil Vegetation Water

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Land disposal of vegetation water from olive oil mills with high pollution potential has become of increasing importance in recent years. In this study, a column trial was conducted and the vegetation water from Edremit region was applied to loamy soil samples which were taken from Bursa Demirtaş region with doses of 100 m3/ha. The variations of some chemical parameters in leachates and soil samples were evaluated. The results of the study indicated that loamy soil was very effective in reducing organic and inorganic pollution of vegetation water. Application of vegetation water significantly increased the organic carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and conductivity of the upper (0-20 cm) soil layer.
Abstract (Original Language):
Son yıllarda, yüksek kirlilik potansiyeline sahip zeytinyağı endüstrisi karasularının araziye verilerek bertarafı, üzerinde önemle durulan bir alternatif olarak gündeme gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Bursa Demirtaş bölgesinden alınan tınlı bir tarım toprağına 100 m3/ha oranında karasu uygulanarak bir lizimetre deneyi yürütülmüş, kolonlara verilen karasu hacmi kadar sızıntı suyu kolon diplerinden toplandıktan sonra sızıntı suları ile kolonlardan boşaltılan toprak katmanlarındaki bazı kimyasal parametrelerin değişimleri incelenmiştir. Sonuçlar, kullanılan tınlı toprağın, karasuyun organik ve inorganik kirliliğini azaltmada oldukça etkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Karasu uygulamasıyla özellikle 0-20 cm’lik yüzey toprağında organik karbon, azot, fosfor ve iletkenlik değerlerinin belirgin bir artış gösterdiği görülmüştür.
