Gastric Schwannoma: Case Report

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Gastrointestinal schwannomas are uncommon mesenchymal neoplasms that are totally different from their soft tissue and central nervous system counterparts. They arise in the wall of the gastrointestinal tract and are most commonly found in the stomach. Schwannomas should be included in the differential diagnosis of gastric masses.
Abstract (Original Language):
Gastrointestinal sistem (GIS) kaynaklı schwannomlar oldukça nadir; yumuşak doku ve santral sinir sisteminde karşılaştığımız konvansiyonel schwannomlardan oldukça farklı mezenkimal kaynaklı neoplazmlardır. GIS schwannomları gastrointestinal sistem duvarından kaynaklanır. En sık midede görülür. Gastrik kitlelerin ayırıcı tanısında göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır.
