Chronic pelvic pain constitutes an important part of reasons for women in reproductive age consulting to gynecologist. Because of many different pathologies in its etiology, there are difficulties in its diagnose and treatment. In our study, demographic features of women with chronic pelvic pain and pathologies in this case are researched. For this purpose, 30 women coming to our clinic and who have the KPA case were applied diagnostic laparoscopy. As a result of the research, we diagnosed pelvic pathology with the rate of %86.6; adhesion (%40), endometriosis (% 16.7), Kr. PID (%13.3) ovarian cyst (% 6.7), extension in pelvic veins (%6.7) and myoma uteri (%3.3). Normal genital findings were seen in 4 (%13.3) cases. Although %86.6 pathology was seen with laparoscopy,, %10 was seen with pelvic operation, and %16.7 was seen with ultrasonography. Diagnosing success in women with KPA by using USG and pelvic operation was found comparatively low.

Kronik pelvik ağrı reprodüktif çağdaki kadınların jinekoloğa başvurma nedenlerinin önemli bir kısmını oluşturmaktadır. Etyolojisindeki pek çok farklı patoloji nedeniyle tanı ve tedavisinde güçlükler yaşanmaktadır. Çalışmamızda kronik pelvik ağrılı kadınların demografik özellikleri ve bu olgulardaki patolojiler araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla kliniğimize başvuran KPA kriterlerine uyan 30 kadına diagnostik laparoskopi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sırasıyla, adezyon (%40), endometriozis (% 16.7), Kr. PID (%13.3) over kisti (% 6.7), pelvik venlerde genişleme (%6.7) ve myoma uteri (%3.3) olmak üzere % 86.6 oranında pelvik patoloji saptadık. 4 (%13.3) olguda ise normal genital bulgular izlenmiştir. Laparoskopi ile % 86.6 oranında patoloji izlendiği halde, pelvik muayene ile % 10, ultrasonografi ile % 16.7 oranında patoloji tespit edilmiştir. USG ve pelvik muayenenin KPA’lı kadınlarda tanı koyma başarısı oldukça düşük bulunmuştur.
