Abstract (2. Language):
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between various protocols of anaerobic performance tests in American football players. 27 male American football players from a university team voluntarily participated this study ( X age: 23.07±3.45 yrs). Subjects’ height, body mass, skinfold thickness and anthropometric measurements were taken and Acikada formula (1991) was used for determining their body fat percentage. Wingate Anaerobic Power Test (WAnT), squat jump (SJ), counter movement jump (CMJ), repeated-jump and 10-20-30 meters transition (speed) times were used for the determination of anaerobic performance. Results of Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis, WAnT anaerobic power was significantly correlated with anaerobic capacity (r=.394; p<0.05), however WAnT anaerobic capacity was significantly correlated with squat jump (r=.536; p<0.01), 10m. sprint (r=-.608; p<0.01), 20m. sprint (r=-.626; p<0.01) and 30m. sprint (r=-.593; p<0.01). Similarly repeated jump was significantly correlated with squat jump (r=-.596; p<0.01), countermovement jump (r=-.462; p<0.05), 10m. sprint (r=-.632; p<0.01), 20m. sprint (r= -.558; p<0.01) and 30m. sprint (r=-.580; p<0.01). In addition to countermovement jump was significantly correlated with squat jump (r=-.791; p<0.01), 10m. sprint (r=-.609; p<0.01), 20m. sprint (r=-.590; p<0.01) and 30m. sprint (r=-.588; p<0.01). Results also indicated that squat jump was significantly correlated with 10m. sprint (r=-.711; p<0.01), 20m. sprint (r=-.658; p<0.01) and 30m. sprint (r=-.638; p<0.01). As a conclusion, the findings of the present study indicated that various protocols of anaerobic performance tests are related to each other. That is derived from the measurement protocols which all have anaerobic characteristics.
Abstract (Original Language):
Bu çalışma Amerikan futbolu oyuncularında farklı protokollerden elde edilen anaerobik performans değerleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya toplam 27 gönüllü (X yaş: 23.07±3.45 yıl) erkek üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır. Deneklerin vücut kompozisyonlarının belirlenmesinde; boy uzunluğu, vücut ağırlığı, deri kıvrım kalınlığı, çevre ve çap ölçümleri yapılmış, yağ yüzdesinin belirlenmesinde ise Açıkada (1991) formülü kullanılmıştır. Anaerobik performans Wingate anaerobik güç ve kapasite testi (WAnT), aktif sıçrama, skuat sıçrama, çoklu sıçrama, 10m., 20m., 30m. testleri ile belirlenmiştir. Yapılan Pearson Çarpımlar Moment Korelasyon sonucunda elde edilen WAnT anaerobik güç ile anaerobik kapasite (r=.394; p<0.05) arasında da anlamlı ilişki bulunurken, anaerobik kapasite ile skuat sıçrama (r=.536; p<0.01), 10 metre koşu (r=-.608; p<0.01), 20 metre koşu (r=-.626; p<0.01) ve 30 metre koşu (r=-.593; p<0.01) arasında ilişki bulunmuştur. Buna benzer bir ilişkide çoklu sıçrama ile skuat sıçrama (r=-.596; p<0.01), aktif sıçrama (r=-.462; p<0.05), 10 metre koşu (r=-.632; p<0.01), 20 metre koşu (r=-.558; p<0.01) ve 30 metre koşu (r=-.580; p<0.01) arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca aktif sıçrama ile skuat sıçrama (r=-.791; p<0.01), 10 metre koşu (r=-.609; p<0.01), 20 metre koşu (r=-.590; p<0.01) ve 30 metre koşu (r=-.588; p<0.01) arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Bu sonuçlara ek olarak skuat sıçrama ile 10 metre koşu (r=-.711; p<0.01), 20 metre koşu (r=-.658; p<0.01) ve 30 metre koşu (r=-.638; p<0.01) arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak, çalışmadaki bulgular Amerikan futbolu oyuncularının farklı protokollerde elde edilen anaerobik performans sonuçlarının ilişkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Buda kullanılan protokollerin anaerobik yapıya sahip olan ölçüm teknikleri olduğundan kaynaklanmaktadır
