The purpose of this paper is to discuss how to adapt political citizenship inheritance to organizational level and how to develop organizational citizenship system (OCS) especially in education organizations. Despite many different aprroaches, there is still need to construct effective schools and educational environment of high quality, in the frame suitable for the education’s nature and schools’ nature as an organization. Organizational citizenship system could provide a comprehensive and integral approach to construct effective schools and educational environment of high quality. Organizational citizenship systemderived from studies on organizational citizenship behaviors and OCS refers to healthy relationship between individual and organization. It is expected that this study, as theoretical and intellectual approach in the context of OCS, will contribute to the literature.

Bu çalışmanın amacı siyasal yurttaşlık kavramına ilişkin düşünsel mirasın örgütsel bağlama nasıl uyarlanabileceğini tartışmak ve özellikle eğitim örgütleri için bir örgütsel yurttaşlık sisteminin nasıl geliştirilebileceğini irdelemektir. Birçok girişimin varlığına rağmen özellikle eğitimin ve okulların doğasına uygun bir biçimde örgütsel açıdan daha etkili okulların ve kaliteli bir eğitim ortamının oluşturulmasına ilişkin gereksinim varlığını korumaktadır. Örgütsel yurttaşlık sistemi kapsayıcı ve bütüncül bir yaklaşımla etkili ve kaliteli okulların oluşturulabilmesine yönelik olarak katkı sağlayacaktır. Örgütsel yurttaşlık sistemi, örgütsel yurttaşlık davranışlarına ilişkin çalışmalardan yola çıkan ve bireyle örgüt arasında daha sağlıklı bir ilişkinin kurulmasını hedefleyen bir çabayı ifade etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın, örgütsel yurttaşlık sistemi bağlamında geliştirilen kuramsal ve düşünsel yaklaşım olarak alanyazına katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.
