Abstract (2. Language):
The purpose of this study is to determine the views of pre-service teachers about science and social sciences. In order to achieve this purpose, a questionnaire was implemented to 172 student teachers of Faculty of Education in Yüzüncü Yıl University who were at their final year. The questionnaire was comprised of three dimensions as positive views, negative views, and gender perception related to science and social sciences. Data collected through questionnaires were analyzed by comparing the views according to field of study, and gender. The t-test, and mean scores were used in analysis. Results of the study showed that student teachers have more positive views about the field/ science area that they study.
