The purpose of this study is to determine the factors which are effecting to pre-service teachers’ social skills levels. In order to achieve this purpose, datas were collected from 95 students of Buca Education Faculty pre-service department. Social Skill İnventory used for collecting datas. Obtained data have been analyzed by using percentage, one way ANOVA, mean ( ) and Pearson momentler correlation coefficient. The results of the study revealed that there were no significance difference between factors (except gender) and social skills levels. On the other hand there were some significance difference between the scale’s sub-parts and other factors.

Bu araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının sosyal beceri düzeylerine etki eden faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Buca Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümünde öğrenim gören 95 öğrenci araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada Sosyal Beceri Envanteri veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Ölçekten toplanan verilerin analizinde Tek Yönlü ANOVA, %(yüzde), aritmetik ortalama ( ) ve Pearson Korelâsyon katsayısı, istatistiksel yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sosyal beceri düzeylerinin cinsiyet dışındaki faktörlere göre anlamlı olarak değişmediği görülmüştür. Buna karşılık ölçeğin alt bölümleriyle bazı faktörler arasında anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur.
