Abstract (2. Language):
This article was prepared to discover the reasons for the difficulties Turkish students
encounter while they are writing in French and aims to suggest solutions to contribute
learners to produce correct and complete sentences. The population of the study was
composed of the students and instructors who attended the French preparatory classes
of Gazi, Hacettepe and Ankara Universities in 2003-2004 academic year. In this article,
writing skill was dealt with on the basis of “producing correct and complete
sentences”. The reasons which were determined via the questionnaire results and
vocational experiences were analyzed under headings.

Bu makale, Türk üniversite öğrencilerinin karşılaştıklarıfransızca yazma güçlüklerinin
nedenlerini saptamak ve öğrenenlerin doğru sözce üretebilmelerine katkıda bulunacak
çözüm önerileri sunmak amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Makalenin evrenini, Gazi, Hacettepe
ve Ankara Üniversitelerinin Fransızca hazırlık sınıfları(2003-2004) öğrencileri ve
öğretim elemanlarıoluşturmuştur. Makalede, yazma becerisi “doğru ve eksiksiz sözce
üretimi” olarak ele alınmıştır. Anket sonuçlarına ve mesleki deneyimlere dayanarak
belirlenen nedenler başlıklar halinde incelenmiştir.
