Abstract (2. Language):
This study criticizes the approaches that explains corporate social responsibility in terms of positivist theory, and problematizes these traditional and widely accepted views through positivist approaches. Following this, it is claimed that post-positivist approaches, because of their stress upon particular interests and necessities, the system’s reasons for existence, and relations of force/power, can provide a more accurate perspective to resituate the concept of corporate social responsibility.

Bu çalışma, kurumsal sosyal sorumluluğu pozitivist teori bağlamında açıklamaya çalışan görüşleri eleştirmekte, pozitivist yaklaşımlar çerçevesinde üretilen yaygın ve geleneksel kavrayışı sorunsallaştırmaktadır. Devamında postpozitivist yaklaşımların özgül çıkarlara, zorunluluklara, sistemin varlığını sürdürme gerekçelerine ve güç/iktidar ilişkilerine vurgu yaparak kurumsal sosyal sorumluluğu çok daha doğru konumlandırdığı iddia edilmektedir.
