Abstract (2. Language): 
Purpose: Researching the dimensional differences between the teeth ol" the hollow bulb and buccal flange obturators made for the rehabilitation oi" pakiLal resections. Material ;ind methods: After the leeth of the buccal flange and hollow obturators were aligned on 16 standarted models* the distance between teeth for measured. The same distances were also measured after the obturators were finished with PMMA- The differences were statistically evaluated. Results: The shrinkage of the distance between the teeth of deled side on both obturators were significant. Conclusions: On the hollow obturator, the shrinkage of the defect side- wis more than that of the buccal flange obturator.

Abstract (Original Language): 
Amaç: Pal a Lal reaksiyonlarda yapılan havuzlu ve balonlu obturaicirlerde dişler arasında görülen boyutsal değişikliklerin inceierıırıesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç vc yöntem: Standart hale getirilmiş 16 adet dilsiz model üzerine uygulanan havuzlu ve balonlu obturatörlcrin diş dizimi yapıldıktan sonra dişler arası mesafe ölçüldü. PMMA ile obliıratürler bitirildikten sonra aynı meşaleler tekrar ölçüldü, aralarındaki farklar istatistiksel olarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Dcfekt bölgesindeki dişlerin aralarındaki uzaklıklarda büzülme her iki obturatörde de anlamlı görüldü. Sonuç: Bal onlu obturaliirlerde defekt bölgesindeki büzülme, diğer obturaıördeki büzülmeye göre daha fazladır
