After the application of the psycho-education program, participants were given the same scales again as posttest. The data obtained from both the pretest and posttest were analyzed with t-test for paired sample. The results of analysis indicated psycho-education program based on cognitive behavioral approach is effective because of increasing women’s self-esteem and life satisfaction. Psycho-education program that was developed within study is the first program implemented in KDM in Turkey and it is important in terms of modeling for other programs that will be developed in field.
