Abstract (2. Language):
DRESS syndrome is an acute drug related hypersensitivity reaction characterized with acute onset of fever, skin rash and potentially life-threatening internal organ involvement. The diagnosis of DRESS syndrome is difficult because of the variety of skin findings and different organ involvements. Early diagnosis and treatment of patients with DRESS syndrome is important because of high mortality risk. In this article, a case with DRESS syndrome due to use of phenytoin is presented and it has been requested to take attention to DRESS syndrome.
