Abstract (2. Language): 
This study’s aim is to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and burnout on the nurses and health staff who are working in hospitals and also to test how and in what direction perceived organizational support affects this relationship. In line with this purpose, field study is conducted for employees of X hospital operating in public sector. This study which is based on 128 nurses and health staffs surveys showed that there is a significance and negative relationship between job satisfaction and burnout levels perceived by nurses and health staffs and perceived organizational support moderated this relationship. It is utilized to measure job satisfaction from Paul E. Spector’ (1994) study, for burnout from Maslach and Jackson’ (1981) study, and finally for perceived organizational support from Eisenberger and colleagues’ (1986) study. By analyses performed, it is provided that job satisfaction is negatively related to burnout (b = -.482, p < .001) and perceived organizational support have important and positive moderator effect (b = ,178, p < ,05). The results emphasize the need to consider the factors can be having effects on the relationship by highlighting to studies conducted on job satisfaction and burnout.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, hastanelerde çalışan hemşire ve sağlık memurlarının iştatmini algılamalarıile tükenmişlik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada ayrıca, algılanan örgütsel desteğin, iştatmini ile tükenmişlik duygusu arasındaki ilişkiyi nasıl ve ne yönde etkilediği de test edilmiştir. Çalışmada veri ve bilgiler anket yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. 128 anket analize dâhil edilmiştir. İştatmini ölçeği için Paul E. Spector’un (1994), tükenmişlik duygusu ölçeği için Maslach ve Jackson’ın (1981) ve son olarak algılanan örgütsel destek için ise Eisenberger ve arkadaşlarının (1986) çalışmasından yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere yapılan analizler sonucunda; iştatmini ile tükenmişlik düzeyi arasında önemli ve negatif bir ilişki olduğu (b = -.482, p < .001) ve algılanan örgütsel desteğin, iştatmini ile tükenmişlik duygusu arasındaki ilişkiyi önemli ölçüde ve pozitif yönde etkilediği (b = ,178, p < ,05) tespit edilmiştir; yani iş tatmini ile tükenmişlik duygusu arasındaki ilişki, algılanan örgütsel destek seviyesine göre farklılık arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma, iştatmini ile tükenmişlik duygusu arasındaki ilişkiyi etkileyen faktörlere ışık tutmasıve diğer başka faktörlerin de düşünülmesi gerektiğini vurgulamasıaçısından önemlidir.
