Endodontic tedavi sırasında ve sonrasında oluşan ağrı yalnızca hasta açısından değil, endodonlist açısından da zor anlar oluşturmaktadır. Meydana gelen ağrı kök kanal preparasyonuna bağlı olabileceği gibi kronik apikal pcrıo-dontitisli dişlerin akut iltihabına bağh da olabilir. Bu durumlar daha önceden hastaya basit bir şekilde anlatıldığında çoğu hasta oluşacak akut durum hakkımla ön bilgiye sahip olduğundan sorunları daha kolay karşılamaktadır
