BILATERAL DENS INVAGINATUS ASSOCIATED WITH TALON CUSP: CASE REPORT

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Talon cusp is an accesory tubercule which is located on the cingulum area of the maxillary and mandibulary anterior teeth. Frequency of occurance of the condition is rare and it may occur simultaneously with other dental anomalies such as mesiodens, macrodontia, dens invaginatus or large formed cara-belli cusps. Dens in dente (dens invaginatus) is a develop¬mental anomaly which is formed infolding the outer of enamel and dentine through the pulp chamber during the teeth development. In this case, talon cusp on maxillary lateral inci¬sor associated with dens invaginatus was presented with typical diagnostic features
