In this study, immunoglobulin values in saliva samples taken from total 144 individuals, with or without tooth caries in their mouths^at the age of 18-40 years,were detemined, and the relations of these values with caries and sex were researched. IgA leveis in the groups without caries were higher compared with those in the groups with caries, and while this difference was statistically found significant, a significant relationship between sex and Ig wasn't presented.

Bu çalışmada , yaşlan 18-40 arasında değişen ağzmda çürük dişi olan ve olmayan toplam 144 bireyden toplanan tükürük örneklerinde immunoglobulin değerleri saptanmış, bu değerlerin çürükle ve cinsiyetle olan ilişkileri araştırılmıştır. Çürüğü olmayan gruplarda IgA düzeyleri, çürüğü olan gruplara göre daha yüksek olup ve bu fark istatistiki olarak anlamlı bulunurken,cinsıyetle Ig'ler arasında anlamb bir ilişki gösterilememiştir.
