KALAN DENTİN KALINLIĞININ, BLACK II SLOT KAVİTELERDE GERİLİM KUVVETLERİ KARŞISINDA BAĞLANMA DAYANIMLARINA ETKİSİ

THE EFFECT OF THE REMAINING DENTIN THICKNESS ON TENSILE BOND STRENGTHS IN BLACK II SLOT CAVITIES

Abstract (2. Language):
In deeper dentin, where the number of tubules is higher, the bond strength is lower. Remaining dentin thickness is claimed to be responsible for a great decrease in bond strength of adhesive systems, the purpose of mis in vitro study was to compare "the tensile bond strengths of resin composite to dentin in Black II cavities, mediated by two new bonding systems (One- Step and Clcarfil Liner Bond 2). The remaining dentin thickness (ROT) was also evaluated. A microtensile test was used for bond tests and no statistical difference was found between the two groups according to Mann Whitney-U Test and no correlation was found between the RDT and tensile bond strengths. Too many blisters were observed on the dentinal surfaces of One-Step group when the broken samples observed under SEM. The SEM observations indicated that in in vitro conditions, it is diffucuH to obtain appropriate dentinal surfaces for wet bonding.
