Abstract (2. Language): 
Republican People's Party, has been the first political party in the Republic of Turkey and ithas led the way in many instancesin the Turkish political life throughout its history. One of these instancesis the participation of women in political life in this partyfor the first time in the history of the Republic. In the days when political rights were being shaped in accordance with new laws, Republican People's Party opened its doors to women as the ruling party. Initially women took lower level positions within the party, in later years, however, they served as deputies under the roof of CHP. In this respect, Republican People's Party Congresses, regulations and programmes are especially significant in the sense that they provided a space for the discussion of the "woman" question, and a space in which boththe physical and the intellectual existence of women is acknowledged. In Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's lifetime, CHPcongresses were held in 1927, 1931 and 1935. Through the regulations and programmes that were published during the process of these congresses, written sources reflecting the general structure of the Party were formed. In this study, the perception of women in the congresses, regulations and programmes of the Republican People's Party under the leadership of Atatürk will be evaluated in the light of archive documents, papers and researches.

Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin ilk siyasi partisi olarak Türk siyasi hayatındaki yerini almış, tarihi boyunca birçok ilke de imza atmıştır. Kadınların ilk kez bu partide siyasi hayata katılımı da bu ilklerden biri olmuştur. Siyasi hakların yeni kanunlar çerçevesinde şekillendirildiği günlerde ülkenin tek partisi olan Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi kapılarını kadınlara açmıştır. Kadınlar önceleri parti içi alt kademelerde çalışmışlar, daha sonraki yıllarda ise milletvekili olarak CHP çatısı altında görev almışlardır. Bu noktada Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi kurultayları, nizamname ve programları, “kadın” konusunun tartışıldığı, kadınların parti içindeki varlıklarının fikren ve cismen görüldüğü yerler olması açısından ayrı önem taşırlar. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün sağlığında 1927, 1931, 1935 tarihli kurultaylar yapılmıştır. Bu kurultaylar sürecinde yayınlanan nizamname ve programlarda partinin genel yapısını yansıtan yazılı kaynaklar olmuştur. Bu çalışma ile Atatürk’ün önderliğinde toplanan Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi kurultaylarında, nizamname ve programlarında “kadın” algısı arşiv belgeleri, gazeteler ve araştırma eserler ışığında değerlendirilecektir.
