Abstract (2. Language): 
This study analysis the effects of military and non military public expenditures on gross domestic private investment using cointegration and ECM teqniques. Non military public expenditures is disagregated into spendings of infrastructure, consumption, general public services, social security & welfare, and other.The empirical evidence from Turkish Economic data suggests that in some cases public capital spending stimulates private investment, while in others it depresses it. Also, the results indicate that military spending exerts positive influence on private investment

Bu çalışma; askeri ve askeri olmayan kamu harcamalarının gayrisafi yurtiçi özel yatırımlar üzerindeki etkilerini, koentegrasyon ve hata düzeltme modeli tekniklerini kullanarak analiz etmektedir. Askeri olmayan kamu harcamaları; altyapı harcamaları, tüketim harcamaları, genel kamu hizmetleri harcamaları, sosyal güvenlik ve refah harcamaları ile diğer kamu harcamaları guruplarına ayrılmaktadır. Türkiye Ekonomisine ilişkin verilerle yapılan analizden elde edilen bulgulara göre, kamu kapital harcamaları özel yatırımları bazı durumlarda uyarırken bazı durumlarda da onu baskı altına almaktadır. Askeri harcamalar ise özel yatırımları pozitif olarak etkilemektedir.
