The aim of research is to determine the misuses of the concepts in the subject of atmospheric pressure in the high school geography curricula and also to suggest a model for the teaching atmospheric pressure. Moreover, how the experimental method that lets the students learn by doing and experiencing themselves can be applied to the teaching of atmospheric pressure

Bu araştırmada, lise coğrafya programında yer alan basınç konusunun öğretiminde yapılan yanlışlıkların belirlenmesi ve soyut olan basınç konusunun öğretiminde hangi basamakların takip edilmesi gerektiğine yönelik bir model önerisi amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin yaparak ve yaşayarak öğrenmesine imkân tanıyan deney yönteminin basınç konusunun öğretimine nasıl uygulanabileceği üzerinde durulmuştur.
