Abstract (2. Language): 
This study aims to explore primary teacher training students’ levels of awareness and knowledge about global warming. The sample consisted of 92 primary teacher training students. To reveal students’ levels of awareness and knowledge, a test composed of four open-ended questions was developed and validated by researchers. Data from the test, that is, student written documents, were analysed individually through content analysis. The findings indicated that the majority of the students have low level of awareness and knowledge about global warming.

Bu çalışma Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği öğrencilerinin “Küresel Isınma" konusundaki farkındalıklarınıortaya koymayıamaçlamaktadır. Örneklem olarak, Sınıf Öğretmenliğinden 92 birinci sınıf öğrencisi seçilmiştir. Öğrencilerin bu konudaki farkındalıklarınıortaya koymak amacıyla araştırmacılar tarafından dört açık uçlu sorudan oluşan bir test geliştirilmiştir. Bu testten elde edilen öğrenci yazılımateryalleri içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Yapılan analiz sonucunda öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğunun küresel ısınma konusunda düşük bir farkındalık seviyesine sahip olduklarıtespit edilmiştir.
