Altunkaynak and Esin (2004), performed parameter estimation in nonlinear regression via binary genetic algorithm encoding and compared the results with Gauss-Newton’s method. In this study, real-valued genetic algorithm has been proposed for the parameter estimation in nonlinear regression and the results are compared with those of Altunkaynak and Esin.
