MOLLOPLAST-B İLE ASTARLANMIŞ ALT TAM PROTEZLERDE IN VİVO CANDIDA ALBICANS ÜREMESİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI

IJWIVD INVESTIGATIONS OF CANDIDA ALBICANS GROWTH ON LOWER COMPLETE VENTURES WHICH WERE RELINED BY MOLLGPLASTB

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Molloplast-B was used to reline the tissue side of the mandibular prostheses of twenty patients with totalremovab-le prostheses. Culture specimens were coUocted both from the prostheses and the supporting tissues with a cotton swab before the prostheses were relined with Molloplast-B and 15 days, 1 month and 2 months after they were relined. No hygienic guidance was provided to the patients in order to prevent possible aHerations of their usual oral flora. At the end of 2 months period, findings were evaluated andno significant difference was observed between maxil lory cultures ofc.albicans in contact with customary acrylic prostheses and those Jrom mandibular tissues in contact withMolloplast- coated prostheses.
Abstract (Original Language):
Alt tam protezlerini Molloplast-B ile astarladığımız alt-üst tam protez kullanan 20 vakada, protez uygulanmadan önce, protez uygulandıktan 15 gün, 1 ay, 2 ay sonra protezlerinin ölçü yüzeylerinden ve destek aldıkları dokulardan eküviyon ile muayene maddesi alınmış Ve kültürleri yapılmıştır. Objektif bir değerlendirme yapabilmek amacıyla, araştırma süresince vakalara herhangi bir hijyenik yönlendirme önerilmemiştir. 2 aylık gözlemlerimizin sonucunda, deney grubumuzu oluşturan Molloplast-B üe astarlanmış alt tam protezlerin ve kontrol grubumuzu oluşturan üst akrilik kaideli protezlerin ölçü yüzeylerinden ve altındaki destek dokulardan elde ettiğimiz kültürlerde C.albicans üremesinde anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır.
