ISKELETSEL 3. SINIF VAKALARDA KEMİK OLGUNLUĞUNUN TANNER-WHITEHOUSE (TW2-RUS) YÖNTEMİ İLE BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract (2. Language):
The material of the study consisted of cephalometric and hand-wrist radiographs of 54 (29 female, 25 male) skeletal Class 3 and 30 (15 female, 15 male) skeletal Class 1 cases. The malocclusion group was divided in two subgroups; The first group consisted of 18 female and 14 male with the mandibular)) prognathism and the second one consisted of 11 female and 11 male with maxillary retrog-nathism. The hand-wrist radiographs are scored by Tanner-Whitehouse (TW2-RUS) method of skeletal maturity assessment. The results indicated that skeletal age of the cases with mandibulary prognathism was more pronounced than the other cases inspected in this study.
Abstract (Original Language):
Bu çalışmada iskeletsel 3. sınıf maloklüzyonlu bireyler kemik olgunlukları açısından incelenmiştir. Materyal grupları 6-12 yaşlar arasında iskeletsel 3. sınıf 29 kız, 25 erkek ve iskeletsel 1. sınıf 15 kız, 15 erkek çocuktan oluşmuştur. Anomali grubu kendi içerisinde 3. sınıf İskeletsel ilişkileri alt çene ileriliğİne bağlı 18 kız ve 14 erkek çocuk ile üst çene geriliğine bağlı 11 kız ve 11 erkek çocuğun oluşturduğu İki alt gruba ayrılmıştır. İncelemeler profil sefalometrik ve sol el bilek radyografileri üzerinde yapılmış, bireylerin kemik yaşlarının belirlenmesinde Tanner-White house (TW2-RUS) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Kontrol ve anomali grupları kronolojik yaşlan, kemik yaşları ve kronolojik yaş kemik yaşı farkları bakımından Mann-Whitney U istatistik inceleme yöntemi ile karşılaştı-nlmıştır. Sonuçta alt çene ileriliğİne bağlı iskeletsel 3. sınıf yapı gösteren bireylerin kemik yaşlarının materyal grubunu oluşturan diğer bireylerden ileri olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
