Ciwei GAO was born in 1977, received his B.S. in
North China Electrical Power University 1999, M.S.
degree in Wuhan University, China, 2002, Ph.D. in
Politecnico di Torino (China, 2006) and Shanghai
Jiaotong University (China, 2007). He is currently an
associate professor in the School of Electrical
Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, P.R.
China. His research area includes power system
planning, electricity market, Micro-grid and
distributed generation.
Haozhong CHENG was born in 1962, received B.S.,
M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Power Systems from
Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, P.R.China
in 1983, 1985 and 1998, respectively. Now he is a
Professor and Head of Institute of Power System and
Automation and former Head of the Department of
Electrical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong
University. From 1993 to 1994, he is a Visiting
Professor at the Hiroshima University, Japan. His
research interests are mainly power system planning,
voltage stability, harmonics, operation, deregulation
and planning. Dr. Cheng is a senior member of CSEE
and CES.
Haibao ZHAI was born in1978, received B.S. degree
and PhD degree in Power Systems from Shanghai Jiao
Tong University, Shanghai, P.R.China in 2000 and
2007 and he is now an engineer in East China Power
Company.
